Malta, 9 November 2019
Dear Momentum Protocol supporters,
The months of September and October seems to have literally flown by. That is how it seems to go when there is so much going on. Unfortunately the cold rain and winds have returned to the Netherlands and the leaves have changed to burnt orange and yellow. Soon they will all fall and we will swiftly head into the holiday season and the end of 2019. How time flies!
As usual, we have been hard at work with the listing, product development and business development, which we will be informing more about below. In this newsletter, Momentum Protocol is proud to announce the launch of our Solution Provider Program! In addition, our CMO Juergen Hoebarth was able to attend some events in Asia and he has written a small piece about his experiences there. Finally I was able to attend the Hammer Team CEO Event held in Zug, Switzerland at the end of October as well as the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit in the beginning of November along with CMO Juergen Hoebarth where we were honored with helping sponsor and present an award.
We have been making steady progress in the area of listing. We have been busy dotting all the i’s and crossing all the t’s when it comes to the vast amount of information and documentation required for each of the exchanges we are looking to list at. The good news is that we are just about ready to sign agreements with two separate exchanges. These exchanges are part of the top 10 of exchanges worldwide and tedious negotiations have led to a desired outcome. They are excited to work with us as they believe that the Momentum Protocol project is a true revolution in the Loyalty and Rewards industry. We, at Momentum Protocol, are thrilled that we can team up with these big players in the crypto industry and are looking forward to a successful relationship with these exchanges.
“I think that the Momentum Protocol project is a great idea and a valuable addition to the lineup of projects that we are facilitating”, according to the CEO of one of the exchanges.
In particular they are impressed with our team, and our Chairman of the Board, Ariel Luedi. In an interview Ariel had on CNN Money last year, he speaks at length about the Momentum Protocol solution (minute 9.50). You can see that interview here.
As far as any further details regarding the listing goes, I am unfortunately not able to elaborate. More information and updates will follow in our next newsletter!
Solution Provider Program
Momentum Protocol is proud to announce that it is starting to roll out its Solution Provider Program. An initial set of partners have already joined the Solution Provider Network, including Flashboys, Aison and payment solutions provider, Wizzle. Partners are a vital component for the Momentum’s vision of generating a blockchain and AI-based loyalty protocol standard and ecosystem. We are utilizing our partners’ ability and experience to create value.
Momentum Protocol’s Solution Provider Program (MPSPP) is a collaborative framework between Momentum Protocol and its partners worldwide, aimed at fostering protocol adoption, business growth and profitability. The main goal is to sell, deliver and support Momentum Protocol’s solutions and standards. The latest technologies, like AI and blockchain, allow a revolutionary new way to protect customers’ interests without diminishing the possibilities of reaching and fostering relationships between brands and their users, whether in the real or digital world.
Our partners are eager to get started with a blockchain and AI-based Loyalty and Reward program. This is just the start however since we are already busy working on stage two of our Solution Provider Program.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a process used by the software industry to design, develop and test high quality software. SDLC works by lowering the cost of software development while simultaneously improving quality and shortening production time. It aims to produce high-quality software that meets or exceeds customer expectations and reaches completion within times and cost estimates. It includes a detailed plan for how to develop, alter, and maintain a software platform like Momentum Protocol.
In the past period we teamed up with Flashboys, a European technology company specialized in software built on blockchain technology, the internet of things, and automated trading platforms.
Momentum Protocol is proud to announce the pre-launch of “Powered by Momentum™”, a Momentum solution that will enable customers to create, deploy and use the Momentum token in a Reward-Based marketing solution environment. It is a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, developed by Momentum Protocol in collaboration with Flashboys, that enables customers to reward consumer engagement.
Part of the “Powered by Momentum™” solution are payment terminals, a hardware device running an app used by merchants to accept crypto payments and to redeem loyalty points, vouchers and gift cards. These terminals will be marked as “Momentum Protocol Certified™” and will be fully compatible with the Momentum Protocol solution.
More news regarding “Powered by Momentum™” and “Momentum Protocol Certified™” will follow soon to keep you updated on the development.
Korea Blockchain week
Our very own CMO, Mr. Juergen Hoebarth, recently touched down in Seoul to attend the 2019 Korea Blockchain week which took place from September 27 – October 4. Global professionals from leading industry companies and startups, financial services giants, academic institutions and policy groups were in attendance to discuss the real and the virtual applications of blockchain technology.
It is one of the premier Blockchain Conferences in the world and the event attracted a great number of international visitors as well as big names from the Blockchain arena. During this week Juergen was able to meet up with one of our equity investors, and token buyer and a valued advisor, Alexis Sirkia from Yellow.com, who was in Seoul as well.
Juergen is a vital member of the International Blockchain Community, and he was honored with kicking off the Korea Blockchain Week with the unofficial pre-party. The main event’s highlighted speakers were Vitalik Buterin and Gavin Wood, founders of Ethereum. Local Korean Stars such as Simon Kim from Hashed was also in attendance.
Hammer Team CEO Event
Towards the end of October I headed to Switzerland for the Hammer Team CEO event. Hammer Team currently invests in & supports around 20 of the world’s most innovative technology startups. We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to receive the guidance that Hammer Team, and Mr. Ariel Luedi are able to provide us. Needless to say, I was looking forward to seeing what this event had to offer!
This event ended up being a very productive couple of days spent with a number of other CEO’s. We had the opportunity to network, listen to speakers and hold discussions on how to navigate and lead a company through various modern challenges facing many businesses today.
Malta AI & Blockchain Summit
In the first week of November I attended the Malta AI & Blockchain Summit.
We attended this summit 6 months ago where we were able to make a number of promising networking connections. I had also just recently came on as CEO at that time, and this event was a fantastic learning experience for me on everything regarding blockchain technology. This time around however, we were not just in attendance but we also had the honor of sponsoring and presenting an “IoT Implementation for the year 2019” award!
That was the update for this period. I hope it was informative to you. If there are any questions or clarifications needed, please do not hesitate to contact us. As always, a big thank you to all of you for your continued support!
